Cardboard is a Canadian musician turned programmer. While his first Mario game was SM64, he fell in love with SMB1 when he got an NES at a garage sale, largely replacing his N64 and PS2. He started playing SMM1 in 2018 and quickly started making music levels. He bought a switch as soon as SMM2 came out, and has continued to make music levels since.

What is 4YMM?

4YMM is the Four Years of Mario Maker. We celebrate Mario Maker by getting together to create levels that demonstrate just what the game is capable of.

So what kind of levels are these?

You'll find platformers, gimmicks, puzzles, music levels, trolls and many more level types. Each maker plays to their own strengths to make an as accomplished, original and polished level they can. You'll find short descriptions as well as category tags and a difficulty rating. This way you should be able to find something that suits you.
