He invented many widely adopted techniques to push the game to new limits—including his personal favourite, Global Looping Music, for which he has written extensive tutorials in his Global Music Guide. He also loves to share his inventions and posts about them regularly on his Twitter feed, @bbmariomaker2. For this level, he put two songs from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in the game using advanced looping music techniques. He also programmed this website.🤓

What is 6YMM?

6YMM is the Six Years of Mario Maker. We celebrate Mario Maker by getting together to create levels that demonstrate just what the game is capable of.

So what kind of levels are these?

You'll find platformers, gimmicks, puzzles, music levels, trolls and many more level types. Each maker plays to their own strengths to make an as accomplished, original and polished level they can. You'll find short descriptions as well as category tags and a difficulty rating. This way you should be able to find something that suits you.
